Hi, and welcome to my website! Whether you’re one of the folks enjoying my content on Twitch, YouTube, or the Podcast – looking to partner with me – or a potential donor curious about what I’m all about, this page is a quick FAQ to help introduce you to myself and all the things I’m up to. If there’s something you’d like to know and it’s not covered here, feel free to contact me!

Who Are You?

My name is Al Descheneau, known online as XtianNinja (Christian Ninja). I was a full-time solo pastor, preacher, and pastoral counsellor (M.Div, BRCM) for over 16 years before God called me into online missions as a full-time Twitch streamer and Christian creator mentor. I’m Canadian, have been married for over 25 years, have 4 children, have written some books, and have struggled with abuse and mental health issues, which gives me a unique perspective and skillset in the online mission field.

Here’s a link to my bio page where you can see my Statement of Faith, educational experience, and listen to a podcast series where I give my testimony: https://artofthechristianninja.com/about-me/

Where Can I Learn More About XtianNinja Online Missions?

Here’s my Vision Page which includes an introductory video I made when God first called me, some update videos, some testimonials, and a whole lot of explanation.

Where Can I Find Your Twitch Channel, YouTube, and other content?

I have a pretty significant online presence, but here are the big ones. For more, check out my About Page on Twitch.

I stream Monday to Friday from 12pm-3pm at https://www.twitch.tv/xtianninja/.

I have two Youtube channels. One for devotionals and serious topics and one for fun and games.

How Can I Support Your Ministry?

I’ve learned that there are a lot of people out there that believe in what I’m doing and want to lend support, so I’ve done my best to give a variety of options. And, if you donate during streams, you’ll even get a celebratory alert and live thank you!

Patreon gives you the opportunity to give monthly while receiving back perks like regular ministry updates, merch, partnerships, and more.

Ko-Fi is best for one-time gifts. You don’t need to log in and it has no connection to PayPal (something many have requested). But, if you’re looking to give monthly, there are some options to help me with my monthly needs.

PayPal allows for easy one-time or monthly support from almost anywhere. With this option, you won’t receive any perks, ministry updates, or merch. That’s only on Patreon.

My StreamElements Tip page allows you to donate while I’m on stream and, if I’m playing Me vs Chat Minecraft, some pretty crazy stuff will happen!

My Amazon Wishlist has a whole bunch of random things meant to either make me smile or the stream better. I try to keep it updated, but you might want to check with me before you order.

My Steam Wishlist is a great place to look if you want to buy me a game to play.

What is the Stream Dream Team?

The “Stream Dream Team” is a collection of volunteers who are passionately dedicated to using their God-given gifts and talents to equip, elevate and inspire each other while helping XtianNinja reach more people on this new frontier of global missions.

Can I join the Stream Dream Team?

If you’ve been with the channel for a while and are active on my Discord, feel free to apply! Here’s a page all about it and an application form. No guarantees, but I’d love to chat with you!

What is TACO?

TACO stands for The Alliance for Creative Outreach, and upcoming (very soon!) network of Christian Creators from all around the world. What makes it different than others is that it will have a mentorship program, purposeful accountability, and a hand-picked team dedicated to helping one another create excellent content.
